Anna's Birthday Party 2

The party continued...the girls colored Hannah Montana pillow cases to take some as keepsakes from the party...they did an awesome job with those and we got them all heat-set and ready to go. Anna requested a pinata...last minute! We found a Hannah guitar with pull-strings...perfect for an indoor birthday bash! The girls were anxious for Anna to open her gifts...she loved them all...barbie dolls, HSM dolls, make-up, dress-up, books, stickers and activities, a new microphone, highlighting hair color - from her brothers and a huge hit with ALL the girls and the Hannah Montana concert 3-D movie...which they watched before bed. The older 2 boys went with Lesha to see the new Harry Potter movie at the IMAX theatre, so they got home just in time for the pinata. Austin spent the night with Gan...he was excited for a guys night...but, he did make Anna an adorable door sign and wrote her the sweetest message on the back...I think he missed sharing the party with her...but just a little bit!

Happy Birthday to Anna...Cake Time

All the girls decorated their own cupcakes...sprinkles, sprinkles and more sprinkles! Each of the girls had a star candle...we lit them and they made birthday wishes for Anna and each blew out their own candles...they like it so much, we did it twice! They had fun and got so silly with all that frosting...I was laughing at all of them!

Slumber party...It's A Girl Thing

Anna's 6th Birthday Slumber Party

Anna could hardly wait for the day of her sleepover to get here! She talked and planned and was so excited!! She was eagerly waiting and watching for 6 p.m. to get here! The girls came over at 6 and the party started! They put together a Hannah Montana puzzle while they were waiting for all the little girls to get there. The Little Rock Stars had their hair done...rocker style of course, put on those star-studded sunglasses and posed for the cameras! We ate pizza...cheese was the favorite and pepperoni was a close 2nd! The veggie pizza??? not so much! After we ate, the girls had some Wii time...bowling seemed to be the favorite sport. Then we did a few crafts....we decorated pink hair towels...they were posing in theirs before they painted them....they did a great job and were very creative! The girls were all smiles and having such a great time...I was enjoying every minute with them and loved seeing Anna so happy!

Anna's Birthday - August 5th

Happy Birthday, Anna! Can't believe our baby is 6 years old!! Whew...what a full day of celebration! From ice cream at Cold Stone in the afternoon, breakfast for dinner at IHOP and opening all those fun gifts, it was a wonderful day! Connor wanted to give you something you would really enjoy...he looked on the internet and researched a few options before decidingon the High School Musical XBox 360 Dance game and mat...he was so excited about getting it for you! The boys had you close your eyes...really tight and no peaking...then Connor put the bag in your hands...you thought it was GREAT! That was the first present of the day and the boys set it up for you and played it with you...you loved that! We love you and the whole entire day was so great...just celebrating you! God gave our family a wonderful gift, when he gave you to us! I remember how excited the boys were when they came to the hospital to see you the day you were born...they were all smiles and brought flowers and a big cookie cake! They made you a special Build-A-Bear too...I remember them making the voice recording...trying to get all their messages recorded in 30 seconds was quite the task...but they did it! (And you still love listening to it!) They were all so excited about having a baby sister...they love you alot and so do we! Happy Birthday, Anna!

Sparkles Make-Over for a Princess

Our little girls favorite thing...makeovers and makeup! Sparkles is perfect for our little princess! Shopping, hair, makeup and nails...what could be more fun for a little girl?? She had such a great time...she looked at everything in the store...dress up clothes, ballerina tutus, shoes, flip-flops, make-up, jewelry, purses...you name it, they had it! From princess to rock-star...it's all things girlie! I had the best time watching her! She looked at everything, but eventually decided on a new Hannah Montana wig with colorful hair extensions and hair clips...fun! Jeffery and the boys opted to slay dragons over at MagicQuest. Everyone had fun and then we met afterwards for Ben and Jerry's ice cream...yummy!! We made it to the van just as the skies opened and the rain poured down!!

Family Beach Traditions

Since we began coming to Litchfield Beach, we have begun some family traditions that just complete our trip. The kids now look forward to these things and say "we have to...". I'm glad they enjoy them as much as we do! One of the things we do is eat ice cream at Ben and Jerry's...it's just better at Broadway at the Beach! We always eat at Miyabi in Murrells Inlet on Hwy. 17...now we are sure to go early in the week as we always have left overs! Broadway at the Beach is just a great place to hang out in the evenings...dinner, strolling and a little shopping. The kids like to eat at Hard Rock Cafe' and this year was no exception. Another favorite place is "It's Sugar"...who wouldn't like that? A wall of M&Ms...every color imaginable! All the sugary favorites...Austin loves it most I think!! Anna also likes to dress like Mom...I love it too...I'll do it as long as I can because I know one day that will change and I will be crushed...so for now, I'm loving it! We try to do something a little different...we went to a magic show...it was pretty cool and the kids enjoyed it. We are truly blessed with a wonderful family...I'm thankful that we can have this incredible family time together...I'm already anticipating next years trip!!

Our tradition is to take photos at the Broken Oak...the boys are getting tired of all the photo ops Mom requires, but I keep telling them one day they will be glad I did this! :) I hope they will cherish these memories as much as I do.
