Connor Relay for Life

I am so proud of Connor...he has such a compassionate heart and works hard at everything he does! He has poured his heart into Relay for Life at his middle school. Not only is he active in all the fundraising projects his school team does, but he also gives his own money to support this cause that he believes in. He volunteered to help set up and get ready for the school Talent Show and Auction...all proceeds go to Relay for Life. He collects spare change in his Relay cans and counts and takes the money in regularly to his School Team Captain. He got cans for his Aunt Kackey to keep and as she and her family fill them, she gives them to Connor. A-Cure-A-Matata...what a fine day it will be when there is a cure! We relay to honor those we love who are battling cancer now in hopes that a cure will come in our lifetime. We relay in memory of those we love so dearly who gave their all in the battle with cancer. For my dear friends Sue and Beth who are in heaven today...their will, determination, hope and most importantly their faith never waivered...I will never give up hope because they showed me what it means to have hope and what faith in God and God's amazing grace can do in the midst of the battle.
