Austin is now in doube digits...can't believe he is already 10!! He is such a joy...he's funny and entertaining, loving and compassionate...he's just an all around terrific kid! He wanted money for his birthday...originally he wanted it to by an i-Touch, but since Santa brought that, he was free to explore other purchases...which he did! He was so funny when he opened his card...he was holding the bills up to he light to be sure they were not counterfeit...he was so funny explaining to us how you can tell if they are not real....where this came from, I do not know! But, having successfully proved they were real, he was ready to spend them. We had a week-long celebration and he enjoyed every minute! Nana and Papa gave him a Lego gift card which he could not wait to spend...he bought a special edition Star Wars Lego from the Lego store...like 900+ pieces...he is a wiz at building these things and does it so fast. He was very excited to splurge on this Lego set!! Thank you, Nana and Papa!! We also got him a new Toy Story Lego set and a new Gerinomo Stilton book that was just released...he was very happy. We had an Asian dinner at Austin's request...we decided to make our own sushi. We got instructions and a sushi mat while at Epcot in Japan. It is NOT as easy as it looks. But, Connor, Austin and Anna had alot of patience and did a great job! (Brandon is not into cooking of anykind...the other 3 will be fine on their own, but he will either be eating out, or eating PB&J alot!) It was a great time celebrating this special day and honoring Austin...we love you, Austin!!!! Happy Birthday!!!!!!
