Christmas Eve Family Fun

After Church, we came home and had an appetizer buffet...something for everyone from king crab legs to cheese cubes. We used to do big fancy dinners, but have learned along the way, that this is just fun and everyone gets something they enjoy! We planned for chocolate fondue, but were all so full, we had to postpone that treat. The kids bought gifts for each other and we had some relaxing time with a warm fire and exchanged gifts. In lieu of gifts for Jeffery and I, we gave to some causes that were near and dear to our hearts...the kids all participated and it really meant so much more that it was something we could do together. There is such joy in giving and I'm so proud to see that joy growing in our kids.
We got the kids Rock Band - World Tour as a joing gift from us...and that was a big hit...now everyone can be involved...it's loud, but they have a great time! Of course, Christmas eve would not be complete without family photos...much to the kids disappointment. But, one day, they will be glad to have these photos! Merry Christmas!
