Austin's Birthday Party
Austin wanted to celebrate his birthday with his friends before he started back to school. He had the whole thing planned from start to finish. Go to the Airsoft Arena, visit to the Lego store, eat at Five Guys and a sleepover with lego building, XBox - COD and Rock Band...whew...a full couple of days! Well, we got to the airsoft arena only to find out that they were short on rental equipment...so we went to plan "B". A visit to the lego store and Pretzel Time, then home to play airsoft outside (now...remember we are in a COLD snap and it's like 15 degrees outside and probably feels like 6...at least it did to me!). They had a GREAT time! I actually convinced them to wear gloves and hats or hoods. After we got back from Five Guys, they played XBox and then we had a lego building contest...Alexander came in 1st, but they all finished their legos and had fun. We had ice cream sundaes and Austin's favorite Toll-House chocolate brownie cookies. He requested Twix bars instead of cake, so I did have alot of mini-twix bars and Austin was in Twix heaven! The next day, we planned to get the boys to the Airsoft Arena when it opened so they could be first in line for rental equipment. They got up and were ready for airsoft...they went back outside to practice before going to the Arena. They had a fun day together and Austin said it was the best birthday ever! He enjoyed celebrating with his friends, Matthew and Alexander!! Next week...the family party...the celebration continues...
